Seb’s Projects India was established with the vision of reaching out to the poorest and most vulnerable lives in India, and lighting them, one at a time.

People from all over the world have come together with the dream of creating a beautiful, more equal India, reaching out to the rural poor and marginalised, and striving to provide equal access to education and livelihoods for all.

Teachers, donors, volunteers, social workers and many more have been inspired by the work of the organisation and worked hard to make its projects a success, and today, as a result, hundreds of young minds in India have the opportunity to live their dreams to the fullest, no matter where they come from.

Growing through Kindness

Anna Hunter and her family first decided to sponsor and help rebuild the primary school in Senji Mottur, a village in one of the poorest areas of India as a memorial to her son Sebastian who died at the beginning of what should have been a gifted and productive adult life. Since this, the first primary school was built in 2003, and the charity and projects have inspired the hearts and minds of hundreds of people.

he Trust has installed computer labs, libraries, personal development programs for youth, and even branched out to start a livelihoods program in a tribal village as well as doing skills development programs for street women in the slums of Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, helping many more than was initially planned. We have been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement of our partners, and are so proud of how far we’ve been able to reach through their love and commitment to these projects and the people that they help.
