You see through the illusion of sorrow,
To find only joy,
And this is the buoy,
That keeps you afloat.

The clown of joy,
Wears a mask,
Why does the clown wear a mask?
To remind you of your joy,
For this is the task of smiling,
For character is not the letter or the law,
It is the substance of character,
That allows merriment to re-surface,
As the bubbles of happiness,
Float on forms of no thought,
For happiness is thoughtless,
As the moment unfolds,
A new delight,
A new dance,
For each smiling face,
Is the light of grace,
That the clown cannot help but celebrate,
As she integrates the happy and the sad,
To find always joy unmasks sorrow,
To find the clown is your
Reflection,
That is why she is ringing your bell,
To remind you of the perfection,
Of the moment,
Is always the sublime
Is the ridiculous.
